Adam Zwar’s top five places to take tea
Melburnians might live and breathe coffee, but when award-winning actor and screen-writer Adam Zwar looks for a cafe, he wants a perfect cup of tea. The star of ABC TV’s Lowdown and SBS’s Wilfred likes nothing more than a nice cup’a’cha, but he also looks for “a gentle atmosphere and good service”. Here are his top five places for taking tea:

Las Chicas is where I sit outside in the courtyard on a sunny day with the film producers, lawyers and cops.

Mart is tram spelt backwards. An old tram master’s building that’s been turned into a charming cafe. Very quaint.

Quiet. Great food. The shop is off Caroline St. Go there if you want some peace.
