Hayley LewisSummer is smoothie season, and the Five of the Best family home is in full smoothie mode thanks to the arrival of a life-changing kitchen gadget. Every morning, the kids get up and start the day with a mango/banana/berry/yoghurt/whatever’s-in-the-fridge smoothie with Kambrook’s new Blitz2Go. They even added muesli to their banana concoction the other day – it went down a treat.

Sure… it’s possible to do all of this in a regular blender, but this natty little device mixes up smoothies in a drinking bottle, cutting back on dishes. 1. Tropical

Blitz2Go1 passionfruit
200ml 100% orange juice
Several ice cubes
½ cup mango

2. Banana

2 cups skim milk
1 banana (frozen or fresh)
½ cup Greek yogurt
1 tsp honey
½ tsp cinnamon
Ice cubes (if banana is fresh)

3. Berry

1 cup frozen berries
150ml apple juice
Crushed ice

4. Breakfast Smoothie

½ cup protein powder
2 cups skim milk
½ cup plain yogurt
1 banana
1 tsp maple syrup

5. Mango Yoghurt

1 mango
1 small tub natural yogurt
½ cup skim milk
Cinnamon
